The Crop Mob concept began with a group of young people and more experienced farmers in North Carolina that wanted to build community and offer assistance to the labor-instensive small, sustainable farms of their region. They descend on fellow crop mobbers farms to foster a sense of community and complete large-scale projects and tasks that require lots of extra hands and minds.
